Some reminders for this week:

1.  Band Boosters Meeting TUESDAY FEB. 5, 7PM in Student Centre at Yorkdale.  ALL parents are asked to attend if possible.

2.  Band Booster fruit forms are due next week.  Check with your band teacher for exact dates!

3.  Grade 7 and 8 students participating in the retreat on Saturday are asked to be at Yorkdale by 8:50 AM.  We will be done with the music part by 3:30PM, with swimming at the Gallagher Center to follow that evening.

Some Quick tidbits....

1.  Grade 7/8 retreat forms are due THIS FRIDAY!!!!  Remember we need a note even if you are unaviliable Feb. 9.  If the form has been misplaced, it is availiable here.

2. Deposit for the Brandon trip for Thursday Morning Jazz is due January 24.

3.Band Boosters second meeting of the year is on February 5, at 7pm in the student centre at Yorkdale.  Attendance is requested by all parents.

Grade 7 and 8 Band uniform Information

Uniform Distribution Dates for Grade 7 and 8 Band Students

 

 

Uniforms will be distributed at Dr. Brass School on:

            Monday, November 19 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

            Tuesday, November 20 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

            Wednesday, November 21 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

 

 

There is a one time $11.00 rental fee for all grade 7 students and any new grade 8 students. Students will pay this fee when they pick up their uniform. Cheques may be made payable to “Yorkton and District Band Boosters”.  Students are to come with a parent to try on the uniform; parents are also asked to let the uniform worker know their child’s waist size.  If you need a specialty size please come early to get a uniform that will fit you. 

 

For distribution these evenings the entrance to the building will be on 1st Avenue North, a small side door that faces north.

 

 

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP WORK AT EITHER OF THESE DISTRIBUTION EVENINGS, PLEASE CALL STEPHANIE NEWSHAM at 782-7219  or 621-2203.

 

Please be sure you have your pants hemmed by the first performance which will be December 11.  The remainder of the uniform includes your  black band t-shirt, black socks and black shoes.
